Is it safe to keep crypto on an exchange?
Exchanges can be hacked or freeze withdrawals. Use exchanges that publish proof of reserves and hold licences where you live, turn on two-factor authentication, and move long-term holdings to a wallet you control.
What do the trust score and 24h volume mean?
The trust score (0–10) is CoinGecko’s rating of an exchange’s reliability. 24h volume is the value of all trades on the exchange in the last 24 hours, converted to US dollars at the current Bitcoin price.
Which crypto exchanges have the lowest fees?
Most large exchanges charge 0.1% or less per spot trade for the base tier, with discounts for high volume or for paying fees in the exchange’s own token. Check each review for the exact maker and taker fees and withdrawal costs.
